Job Summary: The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) in a professional manner. Other responsibilities include performing a variety of entry-level clerical & administrative duties including receive, sort and deliver mail and packages to on-site and off-site locations.
Essential Job Duties:
Serves as receptionist at the primary point of contact for the office including placing, answering, routing telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors.
Answers customer inquires in person and via telephone.
Validates parking tickets for visitors.
Receives, sorts and delivers mail and packages to on-site and off-site locations.
Safely operates a company motor vehicle following all safety regulations and state laws. Coordinates routine maintenance and reports necessary repairs to the Maintenance Department. Handles fueling process of vehicle.
Schedules and maintains conference rooms.
Administers petty cash and maintains records.
Stocks supplies and performs other manual tasks.
Daily bank visit to sign for and pickup documents for BNA and JWN.
Identifies environmental hazards and addresses them in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
Assists with entry-level clerical and administrative duties in various departments as needed.
Follows all safety regulations.
Maintain regular on-time attendance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of general office procedures.

Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to demonstrate security awareness and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
Skilled in the safe operation of a motor vehicle and maintaining a good driving record.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
Qualifications:
Required:
H.S. Diploma
Less than 2 years of clerical/administrative experience.
Valid CLASS D Driver's License
