This job posting is for the Emeralds at St. Paul location.

This is a Part-Time position. (0.1 or 0.2 FTE, 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Every other Friday & Sunday and every Saturday)

This position is an integral part of the health care team. This position is responsible for greeting visitors, families, residents, applicants, and employees and professionally answering and directing all telephone calls. This position is also responsible to creating and maintaining the nursing schedule.



Provide customer service to all visitors as needed. Professionally answer and direct telephone calls.

Enter and maintain nursing schedule on a staff scheduling program. Ensure that Nursing department is sufficiently staffed based on budgeting allowances. Additional responsibilities include receiving and distributing mail, ordering and stocking nursing supplies, providing clerical and filing support to Health Information, scheduling resident transportation, and providing secretarial support to Department Directors.


Must have exceptional customer service skills as well as a previous background working within reception. Previous experience working within a health care setting is beneficial.

Must posses strong computer skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
