Provide support to the department/site ensuring quality service through timely and courteous assistance. Provide service support to patients who request our care.

Support front desk duties and check-in responsibilities either in a permanent or rotating manner. Answer calls in a timely, pleasant and professional manner, document service requests, schedule appointments according to provider rules and guidelines, confer with patient to obtain and confirm pertinent billing and demographic information, accurately enter patient information into system. High School education or equivalent, 6 months related experience and basic computer skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, human relations sensitivity, listening and telephone etiquette skills, medical terminology knowledge desirable, accurate keyboarding skills. ability to promote and maintain good patient relations and patient confidentiality.

VIEW JOBS 1/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-10T00:00 What you will get to do: The Medical Director – ACO Performance and Segment Support has the responsibilities of establishing effective external relationships with health system/ACO physician leaders in select Medica markets and, in partnership with these physician leaders, leveraging Medica's capabilities to advance clinical value performance of the health system/ACO. This position also provides physician leadership to the Medica Individual and Family Business (IFB) segment, sharing their business objectives, and partnering with internal Medica clinical, network and operations leaders to tailor their capabilities to aptly serve IFB. In addition, this position will have the opportunity for broad exposure within Medica, partnering with a variety of business leads on select initiatives - typical areas of focus would include such topics as utilization, vendor relations and program implementation. A successful candidate will have solid medical practice experience, demonstrated capabilities in physician leadership and a customer service relationship ability. Preferred candidates will have experience within an ACO delivery model, quality and/or compensation analytics exposure and a history of successful project management. Qualifications: * Education Level: Doctorate * Major: Medical Degree * Years of experience required: 5 years Specific types of experience required: * Bachelors and medical degrees required * Must be a licensed physician with current Board certification; current license to practice must be without restrictions. * 5-10 years experience in health care, including leadership in a delivery system/hospital and at least five years' experience in the clinical practice of medicine. * Experience in direct physician management and successfully leading group initiatives is preferred.
