Locke Supply Co. is seeking an outgoing and energetic Receptionist to provide excellent customer service at our East Coast Operations in Richmond, VA. The Receptionist is responsible for receiving and directing visitors, vendors, clients, and customers, along with answering all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person. This position is for someone who has excellent attention to detail, is well organized, and has a professional approach to dealing with both internal and external customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Welcoming Locke Supply customers, vendors, and visitors entering the building and direct all inquiries to the appropriate Associate
Answering, assisting, and directing all incoming phone calls to the appropriate Associate in a professional and friendly manner
Schedule meetings with customers and clients for the Associates and Management.
Help to ensure that the front lobby is clean and reflects our standards of presentation
Contact customers to pick-up orders
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Receptionist
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to deal with upset and/or demanding customers
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple demands
Exceptional verbal and written communication
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday
