RECEPTIONIST POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible forunderstanding and efficiently operating the Division's telephone equipment,greeting and directing incoming phone calls and visitors, receivingmail/deliveries and assisting with various other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanorwhen answering and directing all incoming phone calls and greeting visitors.
Responsible for stamping, sorting and routing of allincoming U.S. Postal mail and office deliveries. May coordinate transbagdeliveries and pickups for division if applicable.
May maintain postage meter equipment as well as themaintenance of appropriate levels of all airbills and packaging materials for Divisionif required.
Assist with maintaining general supplies for office, mainkitchen/lounge area.
Update and distribute community lists and inter-officephone list if request.
Atthe discretion of manager, assist other departments within the division withclerical needs including bulk mailings,typing, etc.
Performall other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
One (1) - three (3) years related work and officeexperience preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Stronginterpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to self-manage time and offer accurate andtimely feedback
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative todaily work schedule is required
Follow directions from a supervisor
Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
Works well under pressure and is capable of handling multipletasks with simultaneous deadlines

Thisjob is primarily a sedentary office position, which requires the ability tooccasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry office materials andsupplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
