Receptionist / HR Administrative Assistant

As a part of our corporate philosophy, Hydromat exhibits their dedication to customer support through our telephone services. Hydromat provides our customers with real personal assistance to those calling and visiting during normal business hours. Therefore, it is essential every telephone call is handled professionally, enthusiastically, and accurately. The ideal candidate will also possess the motivation and drive to learn other business support functions with a professional posture.

BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. All applicants must be able to handle the entire business phone system we are willing to train the right candidate. Microsoft Office skills are a necessity (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). You must be a reliable individual with excellent attendance. The HR team must be able to rely on this individual with confidential information. The right candidate will possess a strong ability to multi-task, with a focus on prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines. Typing proficiency required around 40 wpm.


  • Handle all first impressions with visitors and callers for Hydromat with a positive, professional, and enthusiastic posture

  • Answer and route incoming calls and visitors per our policies

  • Open the main lobby and telephones daily: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm (4:00 pm on Friday)

  • Coordinate all deliveries from main lobby

  • Process outgoing mail with internal postage machine, monitor postage rates, process outgoing mail daily, maintain machine supplies

  • Distribute correspondence with the appropriate medium as requested

  • Monitor and order departmental supplies

  • Prepare a variety of corporate cards and floral arrangements

  • Provide administrative support to HR staff

  • Handle HR information in a confidential and professional manner

  • Data entry for corporate electronic bulletin boards

  • Coordinate and keep the front lobby orderly and prepared to support our customers
