The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as additional clerical duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate department.
  • Greets and directs visitors and patients that present in the lobby area.
  • Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, fax and phone numbers, company website and other related information.
  • Receives, sorts and forwards, incoming mail.
  • Provides assistance to the Intake Department with patient data entry and forms.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties for other departments.
  • Position is Monday- Friday from 2:30pm- 11:00pm

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year PBX and/or Receptionist experience required.
  • Proficiency with software and/or equipment (Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with people with a variety of background and educational levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patients at all times.
