Role Overview

As a Receptionist you will be responsible for tracking employee and visitor counts within the building; ensuring employees and visitors complete the covid check in/screening process upon initial entry; account for incoming mail/packages and contacting facilities or purchasing for retrieval. Our Receptionist will provide any additional administrative support by performing administrative and clerical duties for the assigned work area. Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, accountability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly greets employees, vendors and visitors and notifies applicable party of guest arrival if applicable

  • Ensures covid check in/screening process is completed upon initial entry

  • Ensures all visitors and vendors have signed an NDA and show proof of double vaccination

  • Prioritizes work according to demand

  • May include assistance with correspondence, documentation, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, answering multi-line telephones, and providing related follow-through

  • May provide support to departmental projects/activities as time permits

  • Serves as a resource for Fisker-related needs and questions

  • Helps in performing high priority tasks in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Some college preferred

  • 2 years of experience as a receptionist

  • Experience working in a professional corporate environment

  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to adapt to change

  • Team player and an individual that enjoys working in a collaborative team setting

  • Organizational skill and multitasking

  • Demonstrated proficiency with general office and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated customer service skills and understanding of and adherence to confidentiality policy

  • Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail with ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, including standard office practices and independent professional composition of emails and letters

  • Demonstrated professionalism and mutual respect when interacting with others

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Proficiency with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint)

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends where needed to meet deadlines and company goals.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
