Responsibilities

In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.

  • Answer and transfer incoming calls pleasantly and professionally

  • Direct calls to the appropriate associate or department, take a message or transfer to the appropriate associate's voicemail when necessary

  • Greet visitors

  • Alert associates when they have a visitor

  • Accept incoming deliveries

  • Assist in answering customer questions

  • Assure appropriate coverage of phones when away from desk

  • Data entry

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but a high school degree combined with previous administrative experience will be considered. A successful Receptionist will possess the following:

  • Customer service skills

  • Ability to handle difficult customers

  • Phone skills

  • Ability to handle multi-line phone system

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Minimum clerical skills (basic typing and computer skills)

  • Ability to interact with management

JOB DESCRIPTION In addition to all of the routine receptionist duties, the job has additional responsibilities such as * Supporting field employees with mobile technology needs, so one must be comfortable working with and assisting others across multiple device platforms. * Timely and accurate routing of all in-bound correspondence, especially cost/billing-related information. Prior experience handling such information will be useful. * Executive correspondence duties, calling for excellent writing and grammatical skills. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, productive team player with a work experience that demonstrates the ability to consistently work well with others in a team environment. * Answer and direct the flow of incoming communications on a multi-line system. * Greeting external and internal customers as well as other visitors in a manner that reflects the highest ideals of service and efficiency. * Promptly and accurately route all incoming and outgoing correspondence to support multiple operations and administrative leaders. * Support employee-provided mobile technology for telephones, tablets and other associated devices, including ordering, set-up and maintenance coordination for all. * Maintaining delivery ticket file storage. * Assisting with purchasing department documentation. * Performing other clerical and support duties as needed. * Comply with all safety standards, policies and procedures. * Maintain a clean work area, and comply with the requirement to always present the Company in a positive manner.
