BBSI is searching for a front office receptionist for an amazing company.

M-F 8am - 4:30pm

Overview: We are seeking a professional and courteous Front Office Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our organization, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.

  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed.

  • Assist Accounting with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry in MS Excel. Also batch invoices, prepare checks for signatures.

  • Ensure security protocols are followed by monitoring visitor access and issuing visitor badges.

  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to visitors, clients, or customers.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain office efficiency.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

  • High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-line phone systems.

  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers and fax machines).

  • Knowledge of basic administrative and clerical procedures.
