Basic Purpose of the position:
To provide clerical assistance to assigned areas
In general, most of the time will be spent in the following activities:
Maintains department file system
Processes regulatory documents in accordance to agency procedures and timeframes-area and office specific
Input data into the computer
Types reports and other correspondence
Answer and routes telephone calls and follows-up on requests as appropriate
Maintains paperwork flow
Provides assorted customer service functions in support of assigned areas
In addition, the position involves other duties such as:
Covers for staff during absences and peak periods.
Orders and receives supplies
Processes incoming and outgoing mail
Will actively participate in the performance improvement process known as H3W.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year clerical/office experience.
Typing 30 wpm, computer literate
