Receiving Manager - Happier Grocery

Location: SoHo, New York

Responsibilities

• Coordinating, receiving, verifying, and signing for deliveries and services.
• Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
• Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
• Responsible for all receiving documentation and inbound load integrity including, but not limited to, documenting seals and following organic product receiving and storage procedures.
• Ensures all employees are using proper documents.
• Handles inbound appointments and makes follow-up calls as necessary including, transportation, vendors, purchasing and other internal customers.
• Works closely with Inventory Control to ensure all receipts are correct and makes necessary adjustments.
• Responsible for opening store stocking teams
• Works on other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Responsible and organized team player.
• High attention to details and written procedure compliance.
• Ability to bend and lift heavy loads. 25lb-50lb
• Data entry and computer skills.
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
