Qualifications:

• High school diploma

• 2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry

• 2 years minimum experience in purchasing, quality control, or document control

• Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma

• Must have above average written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to build sustainable supplier relationships

• Ability to maintain high level of professionalism

• Advanced computer skills

• Self-motivated and well organized

• Able to complete tasks in a timely manner

• Ability to stand or walk for up to 75% of the workday

Job Description:

Inspect

• Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

• Document inspection results by completing receiving inspection reports

• Perform inspections and evaluations of supplier Certificates of Conformance (COC)

• Scan and maintain electronic database of suppler COC's

• Resolve product and/or COC nonconformances with suppliers over the phone, in person and/or via email

Quality

• Initiate nonconformances for failed inspections

• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures

• Provide feedback to supervisor pertaining to inspection and COC issues
