Receiving Clerk

Wastequip mobile division Amrep is looking for a Receiving Specialist for our Salisbury, NC location who will be responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receipt, identification, dispatch, and quality assurance of products.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, identify and stock product.

• Ensure order accuracy vs dispatch list and updates system

• Organize and carry out inventory maintenance and storage area.

• Identify areas for improvement in warehouse area, establish innovative work practices and procedures or adapt existing ones.

• Continually update MRP/ERP Systems (BAP) with accurate information.

• Participate in 5S and promote Safety culture for warehouse area.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Customer Service oriented

• 1-2 years prior experience working in a manufacturing industry, lean manufacturing and process improvement tools

• Demonstrated experience working with inventory systems

• Extensive forklift driving experience is preferred

• Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)

• Excellent communication skills
