POSITION SUMMARY:

This position assumes responsibility for supervising the receiving area and freight elevator; maintains area safety, orderliness and cleanliness; verifies licenses, insurances, and permits of all service providers and contractors through the management office; enforces parking regulations; enforces rules and regulations of the Association. Good communication and customer service skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures that the receiving area office is never left unattended/unlocked.

Never permits the receiving area to be blocked.

Schedules freight elevator for residents moving in and out advance adhering to Association Policy.

Registers all delivers and packages (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail).

Reports all problems to the supervisor, including problems outside of scope of responsibility.

Issues parking passes to all approved vehicles.

Registers and distributes ID passes to all contractors.

Monitors the coming and going of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors through logs.

Completes required reports.

Requisitions materials, tools, and supplies needed for the job.

Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.

Maintains a safe work area.

Other duties as required.

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Education/Training:

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.

Experience/Knowledge:

Previous experienced preferred

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures

over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the

property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions

Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on

extension ladders)

Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain,

humidity)

Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally to complete

assigned job tasks

Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written

word

Maintain a valid Florida driver's license

.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for processing thereceipt of all inbound freight by packing slip and purchase order, as well asprocessing all outbound shipments from the surgery center. The Receiving Clerk is also responsible forreplenishing product that has been received into its assigned stockinglocation. DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBLITIES: * Receive and check-in all medical supplies andequipment by packing slip and purchase order * Process outbound cross-dock freight as necessary * Document all receiving via computer or controllog * Help direct the work flow in the receivingdepartment, setting priorities and meeting deadlines for the department * Assist purchasing personnel or accounts payablein researching receiving discrepancies * Prepare goods and shipping documents for alloutgoing shipments * Ship and log all outbound shipments * Keep receiving area, warehouse shelves andaisles clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstructions * Maintain effective communication with customers,co-workers, and other team members * Maintain material handling equipment and reportany potential problems * Restock received product into assigned stockinglocations * Perform cycle counting as required * Rotate inventory stock * Perform physical inventory counts duringsemi-annual inventory * Perform other duties as assigned * Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct"philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement" * Perform all Life Safety Checks assigned KNOWLEDGEAND SKILLS: * Communication – communicates clearly andconcisely, both verbally and in writing. * Customer orientation – establishes and maintainslong-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistentlymeeting and exceeding expectations. * Interpersonal skills – able to work effectivelywith other employees, patients and external parties * PC skills – demonstrates proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications and others as required * Policies and Procedures – demonstrates knowledgeand understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems. * Basic skills – able to perform basicmathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly,spell correctly and transcribe accurately * Technical skills – able to operate a motorizedpallet jack.
