Receiver (Fork Truck Driver)-2Nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

The Fork Truck Driver will operate a battery powered fork truck to move pallets from trailers to

the floor, scanning inventory, and ensuring a safe work environment at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Accurately interpret manifests, documentation, paperwork, and labels

• Maintain familiarity with plant layout and pallet placement

• Identify all cardboard components and stock locations

• Perform routine maintenance safety checks on fork trucks

• Identify and process damaged or flawed material in lieu of stocking

• Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to identify wood species, finishes, and color variances

• Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Valid driver's license

Required Physical Ability:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and use of repetitive motions

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
