The Receiver will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Receiver will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. In addition, by using a system of priorities, the Receiver will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Receiver will be responsible for facilitating the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs.

  • Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area

  • Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles

  • Determine operational capability of motor vehicles

  • Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles

  • Maintain inventory of all materials used

  • Compliance to company policies and procedures

  • Compliance to safety requirements

  • Two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment

  • One year of receiving and/or inventory experience

  • High school diploma

  • General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to differentiate colors

  • Basic computer proficiency, with ability to operate handheld devices

  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude

  • Multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work in extreme conditions (weather and terrain)

  • Bilingual skill a plus

  • Driver's license preferred

  • Occasional overtime

  • Other duties as assigned

VIEW JOBS 11/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-17T00:00 A Warehouse Associate is responsible for their portion of the warehouse function (picking, scanning or shipping). This person is accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns areas. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor. Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: * Drop pallets and fill rack locations where needed both by request and morning visuals * Drop pallets for pickers when required * Remove shrink wrap from all pallets before placing in location * License plate with Pick location and date all pallets prior to placing in rack location * Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods, check battery as needed and charge at the end of every shift * Efficiently stack and store the merchandise, safely, in the appropriate areas * Perform picking duties when required where needed * Report any damaged to product and unsafe condition in the warehouse to management * Ensure proper stock rotation * Receiving Duties: * Keep receiving area clear with processing mdse. up stock in the closest area to pick location * Separate mixed pallets - after receiving, before putting in rack * Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments * Verify correct merchandise and quantity received and report discrepancies and damages as received. Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1+ years of Warehouse experience * Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Preferred Qualifications * Pallet jack and/or Forklift experience * Basic computer skills Skills and Specifications: * Leadership and decision-making abilities * Strong interpersonal capabilities * Understanding of all safety procedures for handling and receiving goods * Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines * Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with staff at all levels of the company Physical Qualifications: * Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching * Walking and/or standing up to 10 hours per day, 6 days per week if applicable * Repetitive grasping and twisting with hands * Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment * Ability to occasionally climb stairs to retrieve stock items Highline Aftermarket Chalfont PA
