Indoor Swim Team - Head Group Coach

Application Special Instructions

Work with the Head Coach to develop and implement seasonal, weekly, and daily training plans for the assigned group(s). Work with the Head Coach in planning and implementing evaluations, recruiting ideas and swimmer retention. Teach and train the swimmers in proper stroke techniques and racing strategies as appropriate for the age and developmental level of the assigned group(s). Develop and maintain healthy relationships with the swimmers, their parents and other members of the coaching staff.

Participate fully in group practices and activities. Maintain daily attendance records for the group. Reports and concerns to the Head Coach and Aquatics Superintendent.

Candidates must have the ability to clearly communicate ideas, adaptability in an ever-changing environment with the ability to problem solve when there are no clearly defined or established policies or procedures.

This is an open until filled position. Closing date will be adjusted and applications will be reviewed until positions are filled.
