About the position
Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Rebalancing Specialist to join our Rebalancer team within our Investment Product Group!
What you'll do
Validate daily delivery, processing, and loading of data required for rebalancing
Coordinate with Operations team to document and perform daily preflight checks, ensure accuracy and timeliness of automated rebalancing
Monitor progress of automated rebalancing from ingestion of trade proposals to allocation of executed orders
Analyze and monitor performance of the rebalancer on an ongoing basis, identifies and characterizes trends that impact client outcomes for better or worse
Provide feedback and input to Product, Design, and Engineering teams during the product development process
Provide one-off / custom reports and analyses for financial advisors
Work with the Investment Solutions team to implement managed transitions for high-touch advisors
Implement pilot programs and special accommodations within the rebalancer
Liaise with the Customer Success, Market Data, and Compliance teams to investigate issues and work closely with engineering to find solutions.
What you'll bring
3+ years experience working in the finance industry, preferably in an operational capacity
Background in optimization and core portfolio rebalancing concepts (tax management, dispersion management, rebalancing methodologies)
Experience working with one or more commercial optimization-based trading solutions
Experience with financial data - positions, prices, cost basis
Familiarity with data pipeline workflows
Familiarity with securities trading and corporate actions
Proficiency with data analysis and SQL
Affinity for a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Dallas, TX salary range
$79,000-$107,000 USD
