ABOUT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

The Property Management team is responsible for operating and maintaining our beautiful communities, but beyond that, they are relationship builders and the heart and soul of MidPen. PAY RANGE

$67,000 - $87,000 Annual Salary - Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications

POSITION OVERVIEW

The RealPage Support Specialist is tier 1 support and reports to the Senior RealPage Administrator and Trainer. The RealPage Support Specialist is responsible for supporting all property management software used at MidPen Housing. The RealPage Systems Support Specialist will configure, troubleshoot, update, test, and enhance the software tools necessary to effectively support the property and financial management aspects of the portfolios. The RealPage Systems Support Specialist will also assist with ongoing training, coaching, and supporting internal system users and may assist in the implementation and support of other software applications used within the organization in conjunction with the Senior RealPage Administrator & Trainer.

This is a hybrid position, based on current MidPen policy of working Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Union City Office. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, option to work from home or the office. When working from home, requires a reliable internet connection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Configure and maintain the general operational settings within OneSite to ensure optimal performance and adherence to organizational policies

  • Support tenant screening criteria to align with company standards and legal requirements

  • Create and manage documents in the management system for efficient storage, retrieval, and security of important documents

  • Generate and customize reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes related to property management

  • Support the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices

  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on budget variances to facilitate financial oversight and planning

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business intelligence tools and reports to enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making

  • Facilitate the management and enhancement of resident portals to improve tenant communication, satisfaction, and engagement

  • Support the navigation of RealPage Client Portal

  • Implementation of the New Onesite experience

  • Performs other assignments as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED and minimum of five (5) years of property management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • At least two (2) years of Onesite affordable application support

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of property management processes and principles, including tenant screening, document management, financial management, and budgeting

  • Familiarity with affordable housing laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all software configurations and tenant management practices.

  • Knowledge of best practices in software implementation, including testing and updating systems

  • Strong technical skills in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining property management software

  • Ability to generate and analyze reports, providing actionable insights for property management and financial decision-making

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training, coaching, and supporting internal users.

  • Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skills in managing multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other departments to support the overall goals of the organization.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest features and best practices related to RealPage software and other property management systems

  • Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service to internal system users, assisting them in maximizing the utility of the RealPage systems

  • Must possess a valid California Drivers License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements
