Cardno's Government Services Division seeks a DoD Real Property support professional; the ideal candidate will have Air Force Real Property experience supporting installations, Major Commands and/or the Pentagon (Air Staff).

Job Description:

Cardno's Government Services Division seeks a DoD Real Property support professional; the ideal candidate will have Air Force experience and be willing to travel about 50% of the time supporting Air Force installations.

A Part time position is available.

The position includes performing Existence and Completeness (E&C) Assessments, Reviewing and updating Real Property Easements (Grants, Leases, etc. ) and assisting installations with other records reviews and updates.

The ability to obtain a DoD CAC is also necessary. Direct customer interface is a key component of this position so client service and exception oral communication are also important part of the job

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Government & Capital Property Specialist (Level 2) located in Layton, UT. As a Property Management Specialist you will support the lifecycle management of Government Property. Integrating with functional groups across the business and supporting diverse teams with processes and procedures that support a healthy Property Management System. These positions provide the opportunity to directly support a variety of customers both internal and external to Boeing. You will work in an environment that is fast-paced, requires the ability to manage competing schedules, and be responsive to diverse customer needs. Success in these positions requires customer focus, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn and implement new skills quickly. Continuous process improvement is critical, and you must be able to execute existing processes while proactively identifying ways to improve them. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: * Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property. * Assists in performing audits, documenting processes and procedures and investigating and reporting lost or damaged property. * Learns to determine property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligations. * Uses off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish property records for company or government property. * Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy. * Conducts physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations. * Assists in verifying that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations. * Learns to confirm that service work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy or recommended industry standards. * Learns how to determine when property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirements. * Performs disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirements. * Assists with inventory adjustments, liability determinations and title issues. * Handles basic property related activities at completion or termination of contract. Security Clearances: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.(An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications * 1 year or more experience coordinating property management and control activity to ensure continual accountability of government or contractor property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy. * 1 year or more experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications * 1 year or more experience with off-the-shelf software, government system tools to manage records and communicate property information. * Current certification with National Property Management Association as a Professional Property Specialists (CPPS) * 1 year or more experience with GOLD, Property Management system for tool classification, status, location and accountability * Bachelor's degree or higher Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
