The Position:

The Real Estate Talent Recruiter is responsible for accelerating The Agency's revenue by recruiting top talent in the Tri-State area, with a focus on the NYC Metro and bringing them to our brokerage. You will be responsible for building relationships within the Tri-State real estate community and introducing The Agency's value propositions to potential recruits. A successful Real Estate Talent Recruiter is an ambitious salesperson who has an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for helping people succeed. Must be NYC-area based - this is a hybrid position.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify, prospect, and recruit top-producing agents: Utilize your exceptional sales skills and in-depth knowledge of the real estate industry to identify and attract high-performing agents. Effectively communicate the value proposition of The Agency, highlighting our technology, marketing support, culture, and growth opportunities.

  • Drive net-new revenue: Take ownership of revenue generation by successfully convincing top agents to join The Agency. Use your persuasive abilities to influence agents' decisions to switch brokerages, demonstrating how they and their clients will benefit from our platform.

  • Build relationships and influence decision-makers: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, such as top-producing agents and teams. Understand their unique needs and pain points, and effectively showcase how The Agency can provide superior value and support.

  • Meet quarterly quotas based on company dollars brought to The Agency. Your success will be measured by the company dollar generated by the agents you recruit within the prior 12-month period. This can be achieved by onboarding individual agents or larger agent teams.

  • Exhibit empathy and patience: Recognize that agents often have long-standing ties with their current brokerages, making the decision to switch a complex and emotional one. Show empathy, actively listen, and adapt your approach to effectively guide agents through the transition process.

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills: Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence, clearly articulating the benefits of joining The Agency. Tailor your messages to resonate with agents' individual goals and aspirations.

  • Collaborate and multitask: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to support agents' onboarding process. Handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure smooth transitions for recruited agents.

Who You Are:

  • BA or BS with 3-5 years of relevant post-college work experience

  • Track record of success in a role with detailed, sales and operational responsibilities

  • Proven team player and natural self-starter

  • Real estate background is a plus

  • Passionate about building relationships and meeting new people

  • Inherit drive and resilience

  • Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize among competing workflows

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

Base Salary - $90,000-$125,000 USD, plus bonus. Base compensation will be determined based on the skills and qualifications of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
