  • Participate in or lead negotiations and acquisition of easements, property rights, and/or fee interest in lands required for property development, transmission and distribution lines, substations, generating plants, or other facilities required by the Company and its subsidiaries

  • Participate in or lead negotiations of terms and conditions for plats and other zoning/development matters with county zoning authority

  • Participate in or lead the development and implementation of marketing plans for Company real estate

  • Perform a variety of property management responsibilities, appraisals and conveyances

  • Accuracy of performance required to assure maintenance of positive customer relationships and good will toward the Company and the electric utility industry and to facilitate acquisition of permits for construction, land subdivision, and property development.

  • Assist in the creation of marketing plans for Company real estate

  • Integrate Real Estates Services records and files with other company information systems, particularly Adept, ArcGIS Land Explorer

  • Participate in, lead or administer ShoreLand and recreational lease programs

  • May prepare plats and land subdivisions

  • Assist other co-workers within and without the department in matters relating to land and real estate

  • Work independently with limited supervisory direction


  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Preferred area of focus: Real Estate Management, Business, or Marketing


Real Estate Specialist II

  • Four years or more of related experience.

Real Estate Specialist Senior

  • Eight years or more directly related experience

  • Including demonstrated capacity and competency for being an expert in the discipline.


  • Valid driver's license is required

  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

Summary: Duluth Public Schools is seeking an individual to operate and maintain a low pressure heating system and a natatorium and to perform mechanical installations, repairs and custodial work. Minimum Qualifications: * Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED * Two year's of relevant experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair * Or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work. Certification or Licensing Requirements: (prior to job entry) * 2C Boiler's license required * Selected candidate must, within 24 months of promotion or hire, at their own expense, obtain a 1C Boiler license * Additionally, within 6 months of promotion or hire obtain a CPO certification.
