The Space Planning team tracks all corporate space and assists in developing the real estate strategy to meet Cigna's enterprise goals and objectives. We work directly with the Strategy, Transaction Management, Project Management, and Asset Management teams to service the various business units within Cigna with critical data, space & migration plans. We're looking for a Strategic Space Planning lead a dynamic individual contributor that will lead a team of space planners dedicated to all of Cigna business units and assist them in their current space planning needs as well as strategically plan their future moves and migrations. In this role, you'll be tasked with leading a team that is responsible for the space planning and space management needs of all Cigna business units and domestic locations, proactively seeking new methods to streamline the delivery of all services, creating the short and long term occupancy and utilization strategies, and supporting executive level reporting, analytics and strategic real estate portfolio decisions.

Description

  • Manage a team of space planners responsible for key client relationships & coordinate stakeholder needs with all business units.

  • Develop strategic plans (both strategic & tactical/detailed level).

  • Validate space needs, programs, migration strategies, test fits, block plans, and project justifications developed by the space planners

  • Collaborate with Finance and HR partner to gain knowledge of hiring forecasts and adjust space planning needs accordingly.

  • Assist business units to track headcount and discrepancies, and keep our space planning systems & data up-to-date.

  • Direct move, additions and change strategies

  • Key resource for internal real estate and external business unit stakeholders.

  • Improve service delivery workflows

  • Oversee the maintenance of space documentation which shall include building specific space plans, department neighbors and square footage allocations

  • Lead technology migration over legacy systems to new platform.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in a space planner role

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)

  • People Management skills

  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (both written and verbal)

  • Detail oriented with a strong attention to detail

  • Prior space management, facility management or project management experience

  • Proven experience in a client relationship management role

  • Familiarity and experience with CAFM/IWMS systems

  • Experience with Excel, Keynote and Numbers

  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and handling high-profile client relationships

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.
