Job Description:

A Real Estate Sales Representative is also known as a real estate agent and is responsible for helping clients with every aspect of the real estate transaction process. Clients are in need of sales representatives to help them market and sell their home and guide them through the process of finding a home to purchase. In this position, you will advise clients on how to prepare their home for a quick and profitable sale and will help them search for a new home to call their own.

Job Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on how to price their home and get it ready for sale

  • Keep informed on the local real estate market and keep track of comparable homes sales within your clients' communities

  • Organize home tours and open houses

  • Market your real estate sales representative services to the local community

  • Advocate for clients during sales negotiations and when creating home transaction contracts

  • Come up with creative marketing strategies to help clients sell their home

Regulatory Notice. To work as a real estate agent (and be qualified for this position) you must have (or obtain) a real estate license. Like getting a driver's license, state authorized training/testing is required to get certified. Third-party educational institutions provide this fee-based training to the general public.

What This Position Is All About: This Senior Lease Accountant role will report to the Divisional Vice President, Lease Administration and will play an integral part in the Real Estate Department. He/she must have strong business acumen and be able to influence individuals and teams, while driving results through teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate would be able to prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts of occupancy costs. This position assists with reviewing landlord charges including real estate taxes to identify cost savings/overcharges. In order to do that, it is imperative to understand Lease language, how to apply that language when reviewing landlord occupancy cost billings and analyze a landlord's general ledger to identify costs that are not allowed to be passed through under our Lease. He/she will need to be passionate about real estate. The candidate must be a people person, excellent communication skills with strong financial and analytical skills. This is a role that requires a motivated individual with a sense of ownership and demonstrated high performance in previous roles. Who You Are: * Accounting degree; 7-12 years of real estate accounting experience * Excellent written communication and analytical skills * Must have a thorough knowledge of excel and macro functions. * Experience in a dynamic in-house environment preferred * A passion for providing unparalleled client service * An innovative approach to real estate issues in support of strategic business initiatives and objectives * A high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment As the Senior Lease Accountant, You Will: * Prepare, analyze, and develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts of all occupancy costs. * Analyze, reconcile and review RE Taxes, CAM, insurance, utility year end reconcilations and resolve issues with the Landlords * Prepare year end accruals for minimum rent, % rent, CAM, insurance and utilities billed by the Landlord. * Review lease financials and financial accountability.
