The Real Estate Manager manages the companys existing asset portfolio and real estate expansion program as well as creates monetization opportunities within an assigned territory.

Develops and executes real estate strategy for both new stores and existing stores within assigned portfolio consistent with companys real estate strategy objectives
- Negotiates ownership and lease transactions for stores, supply chain, offices and surplus property within assigned territory
- Leads a cross functional team to address financial, physical, architectural and legal aspects of real estate transactions
Builds relationships with developers and landlords that own property within the assigned portfolio
- Prepares appropriate materials and support information for proposals submitted for Capital Appropriations Committee review coordinating with Stores, Finance, and appropriate support groups to assure proper proposals presentation
Reviews reciprocal easement agreements, leases and miscellaneous legal documents covering negotiated business arrangements for new and existing facilities and coordinates with assigned real estate attorney to assure the timely effective competition of assignments and the ongoing maintenance, repair, and status of all our Real Estate assets.
Assists in the creation and implementation of the companys strategic real estate plan including performance marketing analysis and selecting sites for new real estate locations.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
Bachelors Degree in business, MBA or JD highly desired
5-7 years experience, including a minimum of 3 years concentrated in board-based commercial real estate activities within a retailer, real estate consulting firm, a major restaurant chain, or a retail brokerage company.
Must be able to create strategy, collaborate with others, lead and manage both projects and teams, and negotiate complex business and legal agreements within the framework of company policies.
