We're seeking a Listings Data Analyst to join our team in San Francisco. Our Data Analyst will help to collect and monitor all aspects of the local listings data for office property for the San Francisco area. This position will monitor and enrich our listings data and continue to elevate a best-in-class research program that differentiates JLL and drives a competitive advantage in the marketplace through market expertise, analysis and insight. Our Analyst will be responsible for achieving data excellence, to enhance our client engagement and sales enablement platform and ensure real time accuracy of our listings data platform to our sales team.
You will have primary responsibility for collecting data, maintaining and constantly elevating the quality of our data and analysis of that data, creating broker relationships and fostering those broker relationships to gain enhanced access to basic and more enhanced data and creating a constant stream of feedback to and from brokers and administrative staff so that our research platform captures all changes in the marketplace. You will work with inside and outside brokers, administrative professionals and research professionals at JLL to consistently monitor and update listings in the local market, enriching that information through primary research and ensuring our database is kept updated in real-time.
Our Analyst has direct responsibility for the San Francisco and East Bay commercial real estate office market and will work closely with JLL research leadership in the San Francisco office, as well as colleagues throughout the Americas research group to both create relationships as well as monitor the market.
What this job involves:
Primary responsibility for the collection and auditing of current office availability in our proprietary database of commercial real estate properties, companies, availability, leases and sales
Interaction with our local brokerage and research teams and those of our peers to ensure availability data is enriched and verified.
Constant communication with our embedded research and data analysts to ensure our proprietary system feedback is continual and complete
Collect photographs, floor plans and other listing-specific information
Collaborate with our U.S. Director of Data Excellence and the local market team to execute the research plan for office properties
Manage the listing and availability program for the Bay Area office property market
Develop and implement a plan and timeline for covering specific, current geographic and analytical gaps in office research coverage
Maintain an acceptable level of data completeness to include data validation and audit levels.
Interface with other data, analysis and operational teams within JLL to ensure consistent coverage and feedback.
Collect and analyze metrics around usage for listings platform and suggest enhancements for proprietary tool.
