Real Estate Legal Secretary

Procopio is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a busy and growing Real Estate team! If you are passionate about your work and looking to join San Diego's largest and most progressive law firm, please apply!

This position is in our San Diego office. The Real Estate Legal Secretary will work closely with staff and attorneys and will have a variety of responsibilities including:

• Organizing and creating closing binders

• Researching property profiles, searching online title database, retrieving title documents

• Assisting with assembly of documents for closings

• Preparing and submitting conflict inquiries and new matter openings; preparing Engagement Agreements and Conflict Waiver letters

• Managing, planning, calendaring of all conference calls and meetings, including client interface

• Assisting in enhancing attorneys practice efficiency and productivity

Our best candidates have 10+ years of Legal Secretary experience and 5+ years of real estate experience. This role requires a candidate to have very strong attention to detail alongside sound judgment, critical thinking, and a high level of ingenuity to assess issues, identify alternatives and recommend solutions.

Candidates must have strong skills in MS Office, excellent word processing skills, as well as outstanding written and verbal professional communications. Typical pay range is from $85,000 - $97,000 annual depending on experience. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply.
