General Summary:
Tampa General Hospital is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accounts payable and accounts receivable bookkeeper to join our real estate team. The ideal candidate will be organized, meticulous and looking for a long-term role in our growing real estate department. The position is being offered as a hybrid position, with 80% designated in office and 20% work-from-home. We are seeking a candidate who is competent, friendly and enjoyable to work with. Prior experience with QuickBooks, Peoplesoft and/or prior A/P - A/R experience in the real estate industry is required. The person will report to the Director of Real Estate and will work with the Real Estate Coordinator, Accounts Payable, and Finance teams to perform the various job functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate accounting and/or finance experience required.
Strong Excel skills.
Solid understanding of property accounting principles, lease administration, and applicable software programs
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, property managers, etc.
Familiarity with or knowledge of FASB/ASC 842 finance and operating leases
Ability to prepare financial and accounting records
