The Real Estate Development Administration Supervisor is responsible for ensuring contractor compliance to contractual requirements and auditing of project invoicing and appropriate funds disbursements and reimbursements. Responsible for knowledge and communication of state laws relating to construction processes. Provide management, process and status reporting.
Essential job functions
Supervision of 6 team members including training, coaching, evaluations and disciplinary action.
Responsible for approving payment of construction related invoices including, General Contractors, national account suppliers and miscellaneous project invoices up to $250,000.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of state laws relating to construction contracts, mechanic liens, construction notices and retainage.
Work with Legal team to resolve construction project liens and lawsuits.
Skills and Qualifications
Organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Word and Excel.
Supervisory experience preferred.
