Job Summary

This position will provide assistance to the Real Estate Analysts by doing research, writing and graphics for presentations and marketing materials.

Main Description

  • Work closely with the Real Estate Analysts to complete the marketing portion of the sale flyers and offering memorandums.

  • Responsible for research.

  • Assist analysts with rent rolls, demographics, tenant profiles, lease abstracts, etc.

  • Work with the Real Estate Analyst to ensure that requests are brought to market as quickly as possible.

  • Coordinate information regarding market data, occupancy data, expense analysis, aerials, maps, rent/sales, comparable's, occupancy, etc.

  • Assist in offering memorandum assembly including printing, collating, binding and shipping.

  • Assist in closing process.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Strong financial and analytical skills.

  • An ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, grammatical and time- management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work requests.

  • Exposure to real estate is helpful.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate or English preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Office 2010 version).

Environment

  • Office - work with computers, copiers, and scanners.

The Candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills and be familiar with all phases of Real Estate Project Management activities, including, but not limited to budgeting and estimating, planning and design, scheduling, procurement of design and construction vendors through contracts, project execution, vendor invoicing, oversight and project close-out. Key Roles and Responsibilities: * Supporting the Project Management team in overall planning, coordination, and control of high profile projects from inception to completion aimed at meeting the projects requirements in order to produce functionally and financially viable results * Efficiently Communicate project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to the project team and management * Assist in coordinating project management efforts including cost management and scheduling efforts to align with project execution plans * Assist in developing and maintaining a repository of complete project data and documentation * Processes documentation for project commitments (i.e. Agreements, Contracts, Work Authorizations, Purchase Orders). * Ensure project timelines and commitments are consistently met * Assist with the management of project administration deliverables (i.e. meeting minutes; budget tracking; schedule updates; move management; closeout). * Interact with various functional teams (vendor maintenance, project accounting, technology, accounts payable, etc) to identify opportunities to leverage best practices across the team and to troubleshoot any issues with assigned projects * Complete analytics and reporting for daily team duties, as well as ad hoc requests and projects * Evaluate and understand business needs in order to best align real estate requirements * Participate and engage in team/function meetings and events The expectation is that the analyst will have a strong interest in design and construction and / or project management, possess well developed written and quantitative analytic skills, and will possess a level of intellectual curiosity which will cause the analyst to challenge his/her manager(s) to share their professional knowledge and experience continuously. Abstract reasoning skills, a high degree of organization, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to self-start are all attributes which contribute to success in this position.
