Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning for Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Services (CREWS), this client-facing position plays a key role in the alignment of Enterprise goals, Business Unit objectives and Real Estate solutions. Through ongoing engagement with Business Unit leadership, the CREWS Business Partner is responsible for understanding the primary drivers, challenges and opportunities facing their customer organization(s) as well as for identifying and championing solutions that serve both their customers and the Enterprise.
Major Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key business partners and contacts in order to define business strategies and requirements (40%).
Ensure the Real Estate portfolio plans and solutions are developed and enacted (as necessary and appropriate) to enable achievement of Business Unit goals (20%).
Champion development of scenarios and business cases as needed to facilitate Enterprise-level prioritization and decision-making (20%).
Manage individual programs, initiatives and/or approvals as may be needed to support the needs of the Business Unit(s) (20%).
Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Communication of CREWS value to Business Leader and Partner Organizations.
Evaluation of Business Unit demands for physical real estate and associated infrastructure.
Engagement with Partners and Functions (internal and external to CREWS) for portfolio planning and deployment purposes.
dentification of opportunities to advance CREWS, Business and Enterprise objectives through application of Real Estate and related solutions.
Preparation and presentation of Executive level decision-support materials as necessary.
Job Requirements Must have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Finance, Economics, etc.) - MBA/MM preferred but not required
8-10 years related work experience (ex: Corporate Real Estate, Strategic Planning, Management Consulting) in a mid-to-large Corporate environment
Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with Senior Management or Executive Level exposure
A strategic thinker, capable of linking multiple, often-opposing requirements into a cohesive business plan
A self-starter, capable of working across a range of activities (interpersonal and analytic) and at multiple organizational levels with minimal guidance
An excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms, able to distill complex matters into concise and compelling arguments
