MDK is the top creditors' rights law firm in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Florida, providing services to the largest financial institutions in the nation. We currently have an opening for an Real Estate Assistant in our Columbus location.


  • Provide administrative support to Escrow Processor/Officers.

  • Communicate with clients, realtors, vendors and county agencies to obtain information needed in real estate transactions.

  • Processing funds for closings and assist Escrow Processor/Officers with wire transfers.

  • Enter information into software applications and responding to information requests.

  • Prepare, assemble, and deliver escrow documents.


  • Superior communication skills with a customer service focus, a high level of attention to detail with the ability to handle a variety of tasks.

  • Should be highly organized and possess problem solving skills.

  • Bachelor degree of equivalent work experience required.

  • Prior experience working with real estate transactions preferred, but not required.

  • Should have a willingness to develop a thorough understanding of escrow practices and real estate principals.

Entry level opportunities are available with thorough training provided.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications * BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus * CPA required * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend * Construction or real estate experience is preferred. * Successful engagement and client management skills * Working with the tax team to identify and resolve client issues.
