Kutak Rock, LLP seeks a full-time, entry-level attorney to join the Real Estate and Finance practice in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have an interest in complex business, real estate and asset-based finance transactions; specialty finance transactions; real estate development and leasing; affordable housing and/or bankruptcy; restructuring and workout matters.

JOB SUMMARY

Kutak Rock, LLP seeks a full-time, entry-level attorney to join the Real Estate and Finance department in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have an interest in complex business, real estate and asset-based finance transactions; specialty finance transactions; real estate development and leasing; affordable housing and/or bankruptcy; restructuring and workout matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft financial documents

• Review and manage real estate-related due diligence

• Review leasing and purchase/sale documentation

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to apply critical thinking and possess a high attention to detail

• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment

• Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from a fully accredited U.S. law school

• Excellent academic record preferred

• May be currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or be able to obtain Nebraska bar license within one year
