The Real Estate and Corporate Administration Systems Engineer will be responsible for ongoing monitoring, support and maintenance of the Real Estate products. Our footprint comprises of multiple business functions and technologies that spans across Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Treasury, Legal and other packaged applications. The successful individual will be expected to lead and coordinate global product support teams; partner with business stakeholders, software & services providers, engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver and drive 24*7 product support framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with vendor partners in successfully transitioning the production system support & maintenance of applications to the internal team.

  • Build and lead the team to deliver and support the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of key business capabilities.

  • Create and maintain desired documentation on Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Liaison with widely distributed & multi-cultural global teams.

  • Create and maintain strong positive relationships with colleagues across GapTech and institute best practices

  • Provide guidance to the team on technical and non-technical framework in resolving production incidents

  • Be a single point of contact for high priority incidents, ensuring timely communication to leadership and business partners

  • Prepare and share weekly status updates of key initiatives and product health with leadership

  • Perform technical assessment of business requirements and recurring issues to deliver sustainable solution, enabling positive business outcome

  • Liaison with GapTech infrastructure & product teams to coordinate execution and communication of system outages during planned maintenance of Hardware, Network, OS and Database.

  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley processes, best practices and other GapTech processes and procedures.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with at least 8+ years of IT experience

  • Solid experience in packages applications development technologies, system design and support.

  • Ability to understand complex and custom developed business objects and packages

  • Experience in leading a team of engineers and oversight of shift based global resources

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical & business-friendly language.

  • Proficient in listening, learning and interpreting requirements.

  • Ability to navigate and influence teams, vendors and external service providers.

  • Strong knowledge of Tririga technology

  • Strong functional understanding of Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Treasury and other related package applications

  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, MSSQL, MySQL

  • Understanding of Real Estate processes such as Deal, Construction, lease administration, batch processing and performance optimization is a plus

  • Understanding of WebSphere application server, tools and architecture.

  • Experience in integration design and analysis

  • Proven ability to trouble-shoot and resolve issues of high complexity with minimal supervision.

Optional Preferred Experiences & Skills

  • Experience with ETL tool; (e.g. Datastage).

  • Experience/familiarity with IBM middleware technologies (e.g. Message Broker).

  • Experience/familiarity with Java, XML

  • Experience with version control tool (e.g. Serena Dimensions).

  • Good understanding of message queuing architectures; preferably MQ-Series

  • Some knowledge of Enterprise Batch Scheduler (e.g. CAWA).
