Beckman Coulter is a Danaher company, operating in two industries: Diagnostics and Life Sciences.


  • Drive assay growth/ menu expansion in assigned territory:

  • Conduct menu map/ assay utilization reviews and drive immunoassay conversions to Beckman Coulter from sendouts and/ or non-Beckman platforms

  • Applications for new assays (parameters, calibration/ QC, precision, linearity. Correlation support as necessary)

  • Conduct ROI analyses

  • Ensure achievement of pricing goals in general or across platforms

  • Drive penetration of new tests launched on chemistry and immunoassay platforms

  • Assist with "go-live" support for new instruments (initial SW parameters, validation studies, onsite training as needed)

  • Serve as Technical Expert for assays

  • Promote, discuss and position Beckman vs non-Beckman assays, including technical specifications, claims, documentation, sample handling

  • Support and present at User Meetings as needed.

  • Building and Maintaining Relationships with customers and provide ongoing Customer Care to drive retention

  • Conduct post "go-live" visits to new accounts

  • Periodic assay reviews at existing accounts

  • Understand & share market trends/ drivers including guidelines and standards, accrediting agencies

  • Developing relationships with sales/ internal teams

  • Provide sales demo assistance for new accounts in response to assay questions.

  • Support positioning of BEC systems and solutions

  • Provide VOC to marketing and Business Units on assay needs, testing patterns, market trends affecting utilization

  • Understand & share market trends/ drivers including guidelines and standards, accrediting agencies

Job Requirements


Education: BA/BS in Life Sciences or equivalent


  • Understanding of IHC and Histology marketplace or a related discipline

  • 1-3 years' Histology laboratory experience in clinical, research, or industrial setting with a practical focus on IHC

  • 1-3 years' experience in the optimization, operation, functionality, and support of both manual and automated IHC instrumentation and related

  • products preferred.

  • Must possess valid driver's license

Travel: required estimated 75% of time

Language: English


  • Excellent time management and organization skills are a must

  • Must possess excellent customer relations/service skills

  • Self-motivated and independent critical thinking

  • Goal oriented, results driven

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are key

  • Work independently but able to interact as part of a team member

  • Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, SAP)
