Reagent Manufacturing Associate 1

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Entry level operations (Sorting, Aliquoting, Labware cleaning)

• Reliable inspection of small beads

• Pack and sample reagent beads coming out of the freeze-drier

• Maintain work area in compliance with GLP and cGMP

• Follow Zoetis Safety Practices

• Support company goals and objectives, policies and standard operating procedures

• Maintain accurate logs and operational binders

• Provide feedback to Supervisor when a deviation from accepted practice or safety issue is recognized

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques for application in all aspects of Reagent Bead production

• Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures used in Reagent Bead manufacturing

• May train new hires

• Candidate should be able to keep up with the flow of production

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Good communication skills

• Some technical and mechanical skills

• Computer skills (Excel)

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 0 to 2+ year experience in Reagent Manufacturing. Experience in a fast pace environment or in a Medical device company is helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Be able to lift 20 lbs. liquid nitrogen transfer vessel, and utilize certain Personal Protection Equipment including, but not limit to, hair cover, masks, eye protection, gloves.

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in [ California] Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $17.40 - $26.70
