About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Rucker is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Recreation activities are abundant in the immediate and surrounding areas for family and fun.
As Program Coordinator for the Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C), incumbent is fully responsible for all aspects of the R2C designed to integrate and synchronize multiple efforts and programs to improve the readiness and resilience of the force.
Maintains relationships with leaders in Readiness, Resiliency, Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness (CSF2), Suicide Prevention, Substance Abuse Prevention, Health Promotion, Risk Reduction, Quality of Life, Wellness and Work-Life integration.
Gathers and assesses statistical information including the annual Effectiveness Survey evaluating the perceptions and satisfaction of the installation level governance structure for process improvement from the stakeholders in the process.
Utilizes several types of social media venues to keep CR2I personnel and families abreast of issues that impact family readiness.
Determines the ready and resiliency needs of the assigned members in the command and plans the effective utilization of available resources to meet these needs.
Evaluates the effectiveness of programs, researches and provides current professional guidance and information to leadership.
Serves as a staff action officer researching and preparing fact sheets, memoranda, information papers, briefings, and other correspondence relevant to program areas.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes integrating various programs to improve an organization's readiness and resilience; developing policy guidance to improve and sustain personal readiness to meet current and emerging military challenges; implementing various family readiness and family assistance programs to plan, develop, and implement a military Command-wide program; utilizing qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of military, military family readiness and family assistance programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
