Be an advocate for all of the policies and protocols of the organization.Job Responsibilities/Duties* INFORMATION SYSTEM§ Software Programs * Monitor and maintain current software programs * Implement new and update old software programs * Work with Software vendor to assure compliance of same * Maintain network functions and problem solve as required * Learn new programs, and train/monitor staff * Ensure licensing of all new software programs * Assist the Technical Operations Manager to purchase and set up new and existing software programs. * Review and present all facts pertaining to financial obligations of software purchases and updates.§ Hardware * Monitor and maintain current hardware systems * Make recommendations for new hardware and assist in the contract negotiations with computer technology companies * Monitor and update system as necessary to avoid problems * Problem solve PC applications and offer training to support staff * Ensure registration and/or licensing compliance with all PC applications * Assist the Technical Operations Manager purchase and maintain new and existing hardware * Review and present all facts pertaining to financial obligations of hardware purchases and updates§ Inventory * Develop and maintain hardware and software inventory§ Network Administration * Administer Windows- based network and infrastructure * Administer remote connections * Perform all user administration tasks¨ Account management¨ Folder permissions¨ User support/training * Administer security systems¨ Physical security systems¨ Firewall and VPN technologies * Manage, configure, and maintain communications equipment¨ Cellular telephones¨ Landline telephones * Support Enterprise Technologies¨ Consumer information systemsSYSTEM ADMINISTRATION FUNCTIONS:* OBSERVES ALL:*
