Shift/Schedule: Flexibility is a must

Primary Objective:

Supervises warehouse operations which include receiving, put-away, picking, inventory control, loading/unloading, packing and/or checking. Consistently plans, organizes, leads, directs and motivates the work of others with integrity, a sense of urgency and understanding.

Major Functions and Scope:

  • Supervises the daily work schedules and activities of warehouse employees involved in any of the following: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing.

  • Plans, schedules, and assigns work to ensure production goals are achieved.

  • Partners with other members of the management team to provide direction and guidance to employees.

  • Ensures employees meet all established standards for productivity, accuracy, equipment maintenance, housekeeping and safety.

  • Coaches and trains employees in the performance of warehouse activities.

  • Supervise warehouse personnel in effecting the receipt, storage, cycle counting and kitting of materials within the daily deadlines.

  • Insure the accurate entry of data, proper documentation, and correct inventory activities to support required levels of inventory accuracy.

  • Oversee the utilization, maintenance and safe use of material handling equipment and machines

  • Act as liaison between the material handling operations and administrative functions

  • Supervise subordinate personnel

  • Maintain high level of order and housekeeping in the warehouse area

  • Manage and implement policies and practices including, but not limited to, the Corporations Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and applicable safety and health procedures

  • Perform other duties as necessary or required

Education & Knowledge:

Bachelors degree highly preferred; associates degree and three years; or five plus years of warehouse/distribution management and high school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and write English fluently. Basic computer literacy. Working knowledge of all warehouse, distribution, transportation and logistics related functions.

Experience:

Five years plus of logistics/distribution experience required. Minimum three years Lead or Supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment also required.

Competencies:

Core competencies include strong communication and leadership skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to train, motivate and coach employees. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must be proficient in MS Excel. Must possess excellent planning, administrative, and organizational skills. Must be forklift certified.

The Healthcare Manager assists in developing patient empowerment by acting as an educator, resource, and advocate for patients and their families to ensure a maximum quality of life. The Healthcare Manager interacts and collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams, to include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technologists, social workers, and other educators. The Healthcare Manager acts as a resource for clinic staff. The Healthcare Manager works in a less structured, self-directed environment and performs all nursing duties within the scope of a RN license of the applicable state board of nursing. Primary Responsibilities: * Works with the providers and clinic staff to identify patients at high risk. * Supports longitudinal care of the patient with chronic care conditions by: * performing assessment of health conditions * performing medication reconciliation * conducting Motivational Interviewing and Self-Management Goal setting * providing patient education * creating referrals to appropriate agencies and resources * Supports transition of the patient with chronic care conditions from inpatient to outpatient setting, by: * performing assessment of transitional needs * performing medication reconciliation * establishing and reviewing contingency plan * providing patient education * assisting with post discharge needs such as prescriptions, transportation, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), appointments * Coordinate with providers to establish or update plan of care * Performs accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record * Participates in daily huddles and Patient Care Coordination (PCC) meetings * Prepares accurate and timely reports, as required, for weekly meetings * Maintains continued competence in nursing practice and knowledge of current evidence based practices * May perform clinical tasks within their scope of practice * Performs all other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing with four or more years of experience * Registered Nurse with an active and unrestricted license to practice in the state of employment * Current BLS and/or CPR certification * 2 years of experience in a physician's office, clinical or hospital setting * Knowledge of chronic diseases, especially COPD/asthma, diabetes, CHF and IHD * Proficient computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records * This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease Preferred Qualifications: * Experience related to patient education and/or motivational interviewing skills and self-management goal setting * Fluent written and verbal skills in English and Spanish * Excellent verbal and written skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to interact productively with individuals and with multidisciplinary teams * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Careers with WellMed.
