Join the Keysight EEsof EDA R&D team in designing and developing world-class, state-of-the-art, Electronic Design Automation products. This job - in the semiconductor Device Modeling domain - involves developing and enhancing the industry's leading device modeling/extraction tool IC-CAP.
Key Responsibilities will include:-
Play a major role in the ongoing development, improvement, and maintenance of Keysight EEsof's Device Modeling product IC-CAP. Work closely with the R&D, Marketing, QA, and Sales groups in the process.
Contribute both to the scientific aspects of the product (semiconductor device modeling, model extraction methodologies, etc) as well as the software architecture/engineering aspects.
Work closely with the rest of the R&D team on the design and development of optimal s/w architecture and GUI for the Device Modeling products and new features.
Work closely with customers to understand their design/modeling flows and requirements and to develop the products to meet those requirements.
Work with the Technical Support and the Field organizations to help them with the pre-sales as well as post-sales support as necessary.
Work with the Learning Products group to document the new features/technologies developed
Manage project schedule in the bigger product context within a release.

M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Joint EE/CS background is strongly preferred
5+ years of work experience in either Software Engineering or Semiconductor Device Modeling field. Experience in both fields will be an added plus.
5+ years' experience in C /C++ programming and software design (Python is helpful)
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong analytical abilities and creative thinking
Self-motivated and quick-learner.
Excellent team player, flexible, responsive and accountable.
Strongly preferred for candidate to be located in Calabasas, CA. We will consider candidates based in Santa Rosa or Santa Clara, CA if necessary.
