Job Description:

This position is responsible for creating, testing, ensuring the quality of and maintaining a product or product line. The R&D QA Software Engineer will perform complex code testing, and debugging tasks as well as provide high-level analysis related to software design and development.

• Perform unit/module testing of software.

• Responsible for assigned integration, testing, and deployment tasks.

• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

Business Travel and Physical Demands

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field.

Work Experience

• Typically, 12 or more years of experience in software development or a related field.

• Required Skills & Competencies

• Experience with QA best practices

• Experience with QA automation tools and maintaining QA testing infrastructures

• Experience working with mainframe products and tools.

• Experience in test planning, design, and execution

• Experience in many different types of functional and non-functional testing

• Experience with z/OS is a must.

• Additional experience in the following languages: C, C++, COBOL, PL/1, ISPF CLIST, REXX, JCL, Python, Java, JavaScript

• Knowledge and related product expertise in the following: Test Automation, Jenkins, Automated testing experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $111,000 - $185,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
