Responsible for conducting hard tissue processing, mechanical testing, imaging, image processing and analysis, computing, data processing, and 3D printing.Nikon Scanning brightfield and fluorochome Imaging.Matlab Image Processing and Analysis, Computing, Data processing.3D Image analysis, SLT file conversion from DICOM images.Perform autonomous tasks in designing, manufacturing, and testing prototype devices.Solidworks design.Independent design, manufacturing, and testing of prototype devices.Collect and analyze data.Manage, inventory, and organize samples and data.Train others for data acquisition using laboratory devices and software.Supervise and mentor learners and trainees in the laboratory.Maintain laboratory safety requirements.Ensures proper care in the use of, and maintenance of, equipment and supplies.Aid in routine laboratory purchases.Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Capable of working autonomously without direct supervision.Able to work independently without direct supervision

Ability to flex hours during time of deadlines.Experience with Lab Equipment including: Hard Tissue Processing, Mechanical testing.A minimum two (2) of years' experience in computer programming (C++, SAS, SPSS, Matlab).Additional duties as assigned.
