Responsible for performing functions to assist in the realization of projects to achieve growth, product and recipe management and meet specific customer requests. Focusing on continuous improvement of processes and analysis of KPI's. The R&D Life Cycle Coordinator ensures smooth functioning of the R&D department by supporting all coordination related needs.

Essential Functions:

The R&D Life Cycle coordinator plays a supporting role towards improving agility in Americas R&D by tracking status of critical project and sample requests, coordinating sample shipments (specifications, shipping, requests, etc.), analyzing data and being the backup person for collecting and reporting KPI's for R&D, through working with cloud database systems like Salesforce & SAP, and through a working knowledge of the Barry Callebaut Product e-catalog. Keeping procedures and process description up to date based on continuous improvement. In addition, the role is expected to perform the following:

  • Maintain confidential records

  • Influence the office team to enhance morale and capabilities through positive attitude and enthusiasm

  • Fill out various forms and work

  • Coordinate internal and external customers visits

  • Plan, organize and compile reports of meetings, assemble information for weekly and monthly reports

  • Structure and streamline department files on the common drive and on paper where applicable

  • Perform all other related duties as required

The life cycle part will take 70% of the role while the team administration part will take 30% of the role.


  • Professional training in office automation, administration or other related discipline or relevant experience

  • Proficient in Power Point, Word and Excel software (Microsoft Office functions)

  • High learning agility for grasping fundamentals in cloud database systems like Salesforce and SAP

  • Analytic person that is good in analyzing data and processes

  • Dynamic personality with an excellent sense of personal responsibility

  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize various needs and functions

  • Well organized, autonomous, clever and customer oriented

  • Proven ability to work independently and within time constraints

  • Committed to providing a safe food product

  • Abilityto adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements


  • A technical education related to Food Manufacturing/Food Science would be an asset.

  • Complementary language skills in Spanish and/or French are a plus;

  • Multi-task orientated and ability to work and respond in stressful situations as needed. to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements

Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) coordinates and provide all needed preventive, primary, acute and long term care services so that older individuals can continue living in the community. The Life Specialist is responsible for providing various care services necessary for attending to the personal needs, support, and health status of participants. General responsibilities will include: * Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team in ongoing participant assessment and monitoring.
