As an R&D Engineer

  • Mechanical:

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and test new products for the Automotive Service Industry.

  • Achieve reliable function that satisfies project scope criteria through the selection of parts, materials, and manufacturing processes.

  • Validate concepts through analysis and testing including design of test fixtures and special instrumentation where necessary.

  • Design parts and assemblies consisting of sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, castings, plastics, sensors, and electronics.

  • Collaborate with other functional groups to meet project deliverables.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications Include:

  • 3+ years of design experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Must be a proactive, creative self-starter, and proficient with CAD (Creo preferred)

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • 1-3 years of product or machine design experience

  • Experience with sheet metal design, mechanism design, machined metal parts, material selection, and system integration.

  • General knowledge of automobiles and their suspension systems
