Job Title: R&D Engineer II

Job Description

As an R&D Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of 2-3 processes related to a novel pancreatic medical device product. Your work will be part of a larger team effort involving 12-15 processes in total. Your responsibilities will include compiling, analyzing, and reporting on operational test and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, and materials. You will collaborate closely with the RIVOS PD support team, leveraging their expertise to ensure the successful development and implementation of your assigned processes. Furthermore, you will prepare standard reports to communicate your findings to the technical community, invent and create concepts for new products/processes, and may train or provide work direction to technicians.

Hard Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

• 3+ years experience working with process development for materials and equipment

• Experience with test method validation

• Experience with process characterization and process validation for job instructions

Soft Skills

• Ability to work under limited supervision and guidance

• Ability to work cooperatively with various teams

• Strong analytical skills

• Problem-solving skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Spencer, Indiana.

Work Environment

This role is onsite 5 days a week and involves working in a mixed desk and manufacturing environment.
