This is a Fall Co-op, running from June to December. On-site in Bedford, MA

Core Purpose:

This R&D Co-op role is aimed at developing the skills of students in the field of surface chemistry, material science and engineering. In this role, the co-op student will support technology development, new product development and scale up of advanced membranes for leading edge semiconductor chip manufacturing applications.

In this role, you will:

• Learn to understand the concept, method and equipment of surface modification technology development.

• Conduct experiments to test surface modified membrane prototypes.

• Analyze experimental data to support the team to make data-driven decision.

• Work with Scientists within the team to document new processes and methods.

• Follow Entegris safety procedures and guidelines.

You're a good fit if you have:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Comfortable in a chemistry lab environment.

• Basic skills with Microsoft Office. With a focus of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Minitab is a plus.

• Previous experience in surface chemistry, membrane characterization is a plus.

Desired Major & Graduation Date:

Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major.

Prefer Sophomore and above. Graduation Date of 2025-2026

Your success will be measured by:

• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and skills to support technology and new product development.

• Accomplish task on time and support team to meet project timeline.

• A team player, able to work with R&D team and cross-functional groups, including Engineering, Applications, Metrology, Quality, and Manufacturing.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
