The R&D Clinical Research Team is seeking two highly motivated Clinical Research Managers with interests and experience in either biomarker discovery research or oncology research. The successful candidates will be energetic, inquisitive, and excel in a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment.

In the biomarker discovery Clinical Research Manager role, you will support multiomics biomarker discovery efforts, consult on targeted sample acquisition efforts, coordinate clinical studies for new marker discovery, and engage in clinical research collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders to demonstrate clinical utility of novel biomarkers.

In the oncology Clinical Research Manager position, you will coordinate product-focused studies for new marker evaluation and engage in Clinical Research collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders to demonstrate clinical utility of novel markers.

What you will do:

  • Perform a variety of Clinical Research activities involving critical thinking, study planning, execution, analysis and study reporting to support the R&D Clinical Research Team.

  • Utilize data, metrics and system tools to understand clinical utility and to enhance customer experience.

  • Provide onsite supervision and support for Clinical Research Team members.

  • Establish and approve scientific methods and protocols needed for external collaborative research studies.

  • Work accurately and efficiently with careful attention to detail, appropriate documentation, and clear communication.

  • Develop business acumen through internal and external networking to understand level of clinical evidence needed for product charter.

  • Stay current with new technology in biomarker discovery.

  • May manage staff, assign work and evaluate results.

  • Collaborate and communicate with colleagues inside and outside of R&D to provide work support, exchange information and ensure efficient processes.

  • Maintain knowledge of products and procedures, developments in the field and industry and regulatory environment.

  • Adhere to appropriate procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • May participate in conferences, webinars and seminars to continue to develop knowledge base and build Key Opinion Leader network.

What you need to succeed:

  • DVM/MD or equivalent medical training/experience required.

  • MS/MPH/PhD or equivalent scientific training preferred.

  • Prior clinical research experience and track record of peer-reviewed publications preferred.

  • Prior industry experience preferred.

  • Accountable, detail-oriented, and flexible.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize, and handle the stress of multiple deadlines.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels across the business and serve as an external spokesperson for the organization.

  • Ability to work onsite and cooperatively as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

  • Ability to oversee development of laboratory bench and instrumentation skills.

  • Ability to handle veterinary and human clinical research samples.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Organizational skills and ability to plan work.
