ABOUT THE ROLE
The R&D Analytical Engineer Scientist I - Chemist will join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our research and development efforts, with a specific focus on gas chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry (MS), and physical property testing (viscosity, flashpoint, smoke point).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses using GC and GC-MS techniques.
Develop and optimize analytical methods for the identification and quantification of compounds.
Perform sample preparation, extraction, and data analysis.
Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments, including GC, and GC-MS systems.
Conduct routine physical property testing such as viscosity measurements, flashpoint, and smoke point.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects.
Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
