JOB SUMMARY
The Documentation Analyst (Analyst) is responsible for creating, updating, and publishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Aides, and RCO-related resources. This role will create processes for document approval, retention, and publication. The Analyst will use independent judgment to ensure all SOPs are accurate and comprehensive while maintaining usability. The Analyst will have an understanding of all workflows, systems, and processes within RCO and will be expected to have a working knowledge of said workflows, systems, and processes within the first year. Required to work collaboratively with RCO leaders to create/modify SOPS, Job Aides, and RCO-related resources
You will:
Must analyze and anticipate how modifications could impact other area's workflows, systems, and processes as well as affecting other SOPs, Job Aides, and Resources (Identify what action will be needed as a result)
Have an in-depth knowledge of all RCO policies, procedures, and systems and how they interact with current and future workflows
Develop a comprehensive workflow for creating and maintaining SOPs, job aides and other resources
Create a process for document approval and document version tracking
Communicate newly published documents as well as updates to previously published documents to all end users
Collaborate with RCO leaders to review SOPs and workflows annually, or more frequently, as needed
If You Are:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
High School diploma or GED required\
Minimum 3-5 years of developing and maintaining SOPs and associated documentation
Notable client service, communication, presentation, and relationship building skills required
Ability to understand the full scope of the revenue cycle management: patient registration, coding, billing, payment posting, revenue assurance, billing integrity, denial tracking/resolution, accounts receivable, medical terminology, payer contracts, and worker's compensation and no-fault billing
Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with deadlines
